Anti-Corruption Government Branch

No government on Earth has a comprehensive anti-corruption infrastructure, it’s nothing but a patchwork of laws that deal with specific criminal acts that have been committed in the past; that’s like putting bars on only the window a burglar used to break into your house, while leaving your front door wide open. Every government that calls itself a democracy needs to build a new branch of government that specifically focuses on conflicts of interest, nepotism and all issues pertaining to the abuse of power. We don’t need another narrow law, blue ribbon comity or even a new government agency. This new branch needs to be every bit as powerful as the government they will be investigating and every decision maker in this government branch needs to be elected by the people they will be charged to protect.
